The Boys & Girls Club of Albany has served our children since 1892. As one of the nation’s oldest Boys & Girls Clubs and a founding member of the original 53 organizations that formed Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we have a rich history of helping children and teens by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence.

Current economics have devastated funding sources for all non-profits, and our Club has not been spared. Grants have dried up; national, state, and local funding cut and frozen. While State detention of one child is between $60,000 and $180,000 per year the Boys & Girls Club offers programs and opportunities for growth and positive development for far, far less. We need your help today!

The “It Just takes ONE” Campaign is a board-driven national fund raising effort to bring unrestricted dollars into the Clubs, and serves as our annual fund raising Appeal.
