Are the Boys & Girls Clubs open on school snow days?

YES!  We offer programming from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Albany City School District snow days unless our staff is unable to get here!  Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided.

Can non-Club members attend the Club on snow Days?

YES!  There is a $20 fee per child for the day.  Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.
How much does it cost for a child to attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany?

The Albany Housing Authority Ida Yarborough site is free.

The Delaware Avenue site has a fee of $75 per week.  In-house scholarships are available.

When will the Camp Thacher Opportunities and Project Love applications be available?

Camp Thacher Opportunities applications are available after April 1, 2010.  Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Camp Thacher is a FREE day camp for children who live within the City of Albany.  There are three 2-week sessions to choose from.  If you live in our Albany Housing Authority sites, your children can go for the full six weeks.

Project Love applications are also available April 1, 2010.

We require a two week deposit which will go toward your child(ren)’s first two weeks of Camp.
