Thank you, Senior Services!!!
We would like to thank Senior Services for bringing their CATCH Healthy Habits program to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany!!!

Club Members in grades 3-5 got the opportunity to learn about healthy food and fun exercises in order to live active lifestyles and make smart food choices.
The program was run by volunteers over the age of 50 in hopes of bringing two very different generations closer together
Again, a BIG thank you goes out to Senior Services for bringing this awesome program to the Club.

Throughout the past weeks, we have been preparing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany’s Youth of the Year announcement. Our two nominees are assets to the Club, club members and staff. We are very proud of both individuals and wish that both could move forward to the New York State Youth of the Year event. It is with great pleasure to announce that Nedayah Gray has been named Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany’s Youth of the Year.

Nedayah has been a Club member for the past 10 months. Although Nedayah has not been a Club kid for as long as many of our members, Nedayah has truly become part of our family. She frequently helps in the classrooms during Power Hour and will instantly help any counselor when a child needs a moment away from the group. Nedayah confidently addresses situations when others may throw their hands up and walk away. Nedayah has a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable, as if she has known them for her entire life. Nedayah is a very strong minded young lady. Her determination to be a role model in the Club and in the community is unparalleled to any other teen.
